The implementation of normative data in a platform based postural balance measurement system

  • In this work the accuracy of a balance measurement system has been analyzed and a database with balance measurements from normal subjects aged 8-93 has been parameters to include in a normative database for the system. <br>The test series consisted of 4 static tests (wide and tandem stance, with eyes open and closed) and a dynamic test under visual feedback conditions. Parameters used for the static tests include velocity and distance parameters in ML and AP directions and velocity moment. <br>The database was analyzed for testretest reliability, age and gender differences and relations between different tests and parameters. <!-- #h:dissdiplStatic posturography.doc# -->
