Investigation of lateral concepts for the trajectory tracking of passenger cars in the low speed range in the context of
Konkrete Aufgabenpakete:
- Autonomous driving is increasingly attracting the interest of the automotive industry due to the complete decoupling of the driver from the vehicle guidance, but at the same time presents the development of such systems with great challenges. The development of assistants such as tracking assistance systems or automatic parking assistants play an important role, as the longitudinal and transverse control of the vehicle dynamics can be automated more and more. In the course of this work the IAV is working on the development of new assistants in the lower speed range. In a first development step, the previous control of a parking assistant is to be replaced by a new control concept, which can be transferred to other applications. This is to be implemented and validated in a simulation environment. In the course of the work, the concept is also to be stored in the vehicle hardware in order to be tested extensively. The design and documentation of the system is model-based in Matlab / Simulink. For the implementation, a test vehicle is available in which the Simulink control model can be embedded in an overall concept. The test of the new concept is to be carried out in the simulation environment as well as in the test vehicle itself. Specific tasks:
