N2  - Die Arbeit gibt Aufschluss über den Konsum von Milchprodukten in China. Hierfür wird zuerst das moderne und traditionelle Verständnis von Milch als Konsumgut erklärt. Als nächstes stellen demographische Aspekte, Änderungen im Lebensstil oder unternehmensbezogene Marketing- und Distributionsbemühungen die Gründe des Aufschwungs für den Milchkonsum dar. Da Lebensmittelskandale ebenfalls starke Auswirkungen auf das Verbraucherverhalten hatten, werden später ausgehend von der Kontaminierung des Sanlu-Milchpulvers 2008 aktuelle Anforderungen an die Lebensmittelsicherheit und Transformationen in Industrie und Handel näher beschrieben. Anschliessendd zeigen aktuelle Grafiken die tatsächlichen Verbrauchsentwicklungen der letzten Jahre. Eine Prognose für den Konsum und die Chancen nationaler Unternehmen dienen schließlich als Ausblick in die Zukunft.
N2  - This bachelor thesis explores the consumption of milk products in China. First there will be an introduction about the modern and traditional way of thinking about milk as a consumer good. Next, demographical aspects, changing in life style or companies marketing and distribution efforts explain the increasing milk consumption as main drivers. Since food scandals have occured several times in the last years, there will be further descriptions on current topics with the Sanlu milk powder contamination in 2008 as a starting point. For this purpose the analysis of consumer demand on food safety and the transformation of industry and trade represent relevant questions. As a conclusion there will be graphs illustrating actual development in consumption over the last years. In the end a forecast in food consumption will conclude the analysis and summarize with an outlook chances of national companies in near future.
