N2 - The motor control of speech and communication is largely based on auditory feedback. In hearing impaired people this possibility is limited. Alternatively, feedback can be provided by vibrations of the mucous membranes inside the vocal tract. To develop a training possibility based on this, it is interesting to investigate the vibration characteristics of the vocal tract. In this thesis, a 3D model of the vocal tract is created and acoustically and vibrometrically examined with respect to the resulting resonance frequencies.
