N2  - The bachelor thesis "Municipal Cultural Management in the context of the demographic change in Saxony" includes an introduction to the cultural management, cultural policy and the "socio-culture". It goes into the development of social culture in the historical context. The consequences and challenges of the demographic changes for arts organizations in Saxony are analyzed in the next part of the thesis. A case-study of the "socio-cultural-center" "Alter Gasometer" in Zwickau shows the consequences of the demografic change in a city of Saxony and how the employees take action related to the mentioned problem.
