N2  - The importance of the repeat is the starting point of this work and is "The Rapport - the door of the procedure for the admission of the imagination" among the topics formulated position. Based on this work is to penetrate the essence of the repeat in its complexity is. This includes not only to define the technical characteristics of the repeat but also to clarify the roots of the repeat in human contexts. Reasons for this work can be found on the one hand the intention of the author is a design awareness of the repetition to develop the supreme discipline in the textile design, on the surface. On the other hand in the higher-level problems that are increasingly a creative arbitrariness spreads on the textile surface which caused flows through the digitization in the thinning of the surface up to the dissolution of the repetition. Based on this thesis a repeat analysis is carried out on three paradigms, which is to answer the research question relevant to why the perception of repeating itself in space is both practical for the industry as well as aesthetic value to humans. The aim of this work is, instead of creating a collection with a reference offer, which is composed of three different styles by which an idea can be developed of what the report does.
