• Die Diplomarbeit behandelt den Bau einer Konzertgitarre in experimenteller Bauweise. Die wesentlichen Modifikationen am Instrument sind ein zweigeteiltes Schallloch neben dem Griffbrett, ein verschließbares Zargenschallloch, ein Aufstellsteg mit Saitenführung durch die Decke, Sandwichzargen und das ausführliche Abstimmen des Instrumentes im offenen und besaiteten Zustand. Einige wichtige Messverfahren werden erläutert und dokumentieren die Auswirkungen des experimentellen Instrumentenbaus.
• The thesis deals with experimental modifications of a classical guitar. The major modifications are a double soundhole beside the fingerboard, a sideport with a sliding door, a very light bridge which is not glued to the top, strings that are passing through the guitar top, sides with mutliple veneers and extensive voicing of the stringed instrument during the construction of the guitar. Some important and useful measuring methods which document the acoustic results of the modifications are described in detail.
